Policies

For new clients a $50 deposit is required. A link for that payment will be sent to you after booking your appointment via an email. That will need to be paid within 24 hours to keep that appointment.

If your pet is sick and needs immediate attention please reach out to one of the Urgent Care or Emergency Care clinics in our area. If you have a more urgent medical reason to request an appointment but your pet is stable, please reach out to us by using the widget buttons or links found on the appointment page, or by text or phone. We try to have select appointments open each day for medical and urgent visits. Please be aware that those are at pre-established times, are first come, first serve and we prioritize our established clients.

Cancellation Policy

Here at Milwaukee Vet Clinic, we have a 6-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Your appointments are very important to us as they are reserved specifically for you and your pet. We understand that personal things come up or a pet’s needs change. If you do not show for your scheduled appointment or give us less than 6 hours’ notice, you will be charged a $25 dollar fee (non-refundable) that would need to be paid before any new appointments can be made.  You can let us know before 6 hours by calling (leaving a message if outside of business hours), texting (414-310-8997), or emailing us (contact@mkevet.com) and we will cancel or reschedule your appointment and no fee will be charged.

Non-cancellations (No-shows)

After 2 no-show no-call appointments we will need to take a $50 deposit to be paid prior to the appointment to reserve it.  (This is a deposit that would go towards your appointment costs, which is different than the $25 fee non-refundable that would need to be paid if the 6-hour notice was not followed.)

Late Policy

We understand that life happens. If, for any reason, you believe you will be arriving late to your appointment, PLEASE call us! We work hard to schedule the necessary amount of time needed for each service. Accommodating late arrivals is sometimes impossible without disrupting other clients scheduled that day. When giving us notice, we will give a 15 minute grace period, but please be aware that if you do arrive late, we cannot guarantee that any additional service will be performed. In some cases rescheduling may be required for another day if not all services required were able to be performed.  If multiple latenesses occur we will need to take a deposit to hold your appointment.
